If you're off on holiday or just a night away, my cat sitting service is there to care for your kitty, this way, they get to stay in their familiar surroundings, much less stressful than a cage at a cattery. Cats are sometimes quite picky about the company they keep, I will give them the space they need or the lap they love! I can visit once or twice a day to feed them, play, groom, empty the litter tray, bring in the post and anything else you need to ensure peace of mind while you're away. I am DBS checked.
Your dog may be elderly and just needs a pop in to check they are ok and let them out for a wee (and a quick cuddle of course!)
I offer evening/weekend dog sits in your home for when you're going to be out longer than usual.
FAQs
Q: How many dogs do you walk in a group?
A: I'm insured to walk up to 6 dogs in a group, bylaws also determine group sizes
Q: What happens if the weather's bad?
A: We intend to walk come rain or shine (flood or drought!) In snowy conditions we will assess the safety of dogs during transit to determine if walks will go ahead. In heat wave conditions we will assess daily as to the safety of walking your dog. Pop ins may be offered as an alternative. We will discuss with you any concerns we have ahead of a walk and encourage you to let us know if you would prefer your dog not to be exercised in the heat. Breed and age will be taken into consideration.
Q: Do you walk dogs off lead?
A: Only if they are allowed off lead by their owners/have great re-call
Q: What if my dog doesn't get along in a group?
A: No problem, I offer solo walks also
Q: Do you 'pick up the poo?'
A: Yes of course, no one likes a litter bug!
Q: My cat is diabetic, can you administer insulin?
A: Absolutely, my visits will be approximately 12 hours apart
Q: How much notice do you need to book a walk?
A: I try to be as flexible as possible, bookings are taken on a first come first seven basis, 48 hours is a guide.
Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: Yes, all bookings cancelled within 24 hours are still chargeable. See T & C's
Q: My dog has been attacked before, I don't like the thought of a group walk.
A: That's fine, I have experience with nervous dogs and I would never put them with a group if they're not absolutely comfortable, I will assess them and advise a plan forward.
Q: I'm going on holiday and don't want to put my cat in the cattery
A: That's understandable and that's why I offer a Cat Sit Service. Your kitty gets to stay in the comfort of your home as usual and I will visit every day to feed them, freshen water, empty the litter tray and dispose of mess in outdoor bin and of course lots of fuss & affection for kitty.
Q: Do you need my house keys?
A: Yes I hold keys for all clients, each client will have only the dog/cat name for identification. If you would prefer not to give me a set of keys a £6 charge is applicable for collection and drop off.
